Maid: A Story of Life, Struggle, and Triumph

Maid is a sad, melancholy, and somewhat depressing series about how life can go wrong. The effects of past decisions, current circumstances, and the harsh realities of life clash together in this drama series chronicling one woman’s journey to break out of a cycle of generational repetition, bad decisions, and a wasted future. Although there are glimpses of light and rays of sunshine every once in a while, Maid captures life in all its frailty and hopelessness. Maid is not a drama, romance, comedy, or action movie. It is a slap-in-your-face treatise on the harsh realities of life.

Maid is a powerful story and you will probably resonate with one or more of the characters as it is as real as it gets. The best part is its celebration of tenacity, love, perseverance, and hope. It also highlights the unbreakable bond of love and the lengths and sacrifices a mother would go to for her children.
